Clubbing
The aim was to create a new culture of knowledge production and a mutual understanding of what we call work. Designing the club therefore meant more than developing its visual identity: it also meant shaping how people encounter, participate in and relate to it. Alongside a flexible set of visual elements that collectively form the club’s identity, the design process extended to its gatherings, workshops, celebrations, readings and events—treating the club itself as a space and format to be designed.
WCC tape was used to temporarily activate rooms and spaces in various locations, marking them as sites for spontaneous club meetings. The club’s temporary home could appear throughout the city and across diverse working environments—usually accompanied by a poster series and bright traffic cones to create an even more spatial installation. Work in progress!
